Following the publication of the first teasers, Kia has finally shown quality official images of the all-new 2021 Kia Sportage crossover, which show the car from all angles and the new elephant design.
The new Sportage has an even bolder design than its predecessor, with a striking front end that includes LED headlights with boomerang LED daytime running lights, a large grille and a new Kia logo.
Kia says it will be available for the first time in a two-tone paint job with a contrast roof. Image shows a longer wheelbase version for the South Korean and US markets. A smaller version of the car will be released in Europe, which will be presented in September.
For the first time, customers will be offered the Sportage X-Line with unique bumpers and side sills, roof racks, dark green or black seat trims and a range of unique interior trims.
Inside are two 10.25-inch displays for the infotainment system and instrument panel. Below is a digitized climate control panel, combining physical buttons with touchscreens, as well as a glossy black and leather center console with an automatic transmission pushbutton switch and a road mode dial.
Kia says the cabin will use “the highest quality materials.” The lineup is known to include hybrid and plug-in hybrid models.
Prices will be announced shortly.
