Brazil creates 324,000 formal jobs in November

During the month of November, Brazil registered the creation of 324,112 job with a formal contract, an increase in relation to the previous month.

According to the data from the General Register of Employed and Unemployed (Caged), released this Thursday (23) by the Ministry of Labor and Welfare, the November balance was due to 1,772,766 admissions and 1,448,654 dismissals.

The accumulated result for 2021 records, so far, a balance of 2,992,898 jobs, resulting from 19,136,617 admissions and 16,143,719 dismissals.

In the month of October, the wage average admission was R$1,778.84. Services had the highest balance, totaling 180,960 new jobs, followed by commerce (139,287), construction (12,485) and industry (8,177).

the sector of services was driven by Information, communication and financial, real estate, professional and administrative activities, responsible for 105,828 new jobs, while industry concentrated generation in the transformation industry.

the sector of agricultural it was the only one with a negative balance, closing 16,797 vacancies.

By region, the Northeast had the largest generation of jobs, with growth of 9.87%, followed by the Southeast (0.84%) and the North (0.82%).

The smallest generation occurred in the Midwest, a region traditionally linked to agriculture, with an increase of 0.48%. All 26 states in Brazil, and the Federal District, had a positive balance, with the highest in São Paulo (110,198 new jobs), and the lowest in Roraima (413 new jobs).

The average admission wage in agriculture and livestock fell 1.03%, but the drop was less than that of commerce (1.47%) and the services sector (2.61%). Average wages in industry (0.45%) and construction (0.44%) rose.

Growth compared to October

In October 2021, Caged disclosed that the Brazil created 253,083 new vacancies of work formal.

The data released this Thursday (23) revise the October number to 241,766 jobs created.

The highlight that month was also the services sector, followed by commerce, industry, construction and, finally, agriculture, which also had a retraction.
