The number of deaths under investigation, to determine whether there is a relationship with arbovirus, is 2,712, according to data released by the Arbovirus Monitoring panel this Monday (20).
Regarding the percentage of possibly infected people, among men and women, this parameter is 45% and 55%, respectively. Furthermore, the age group most affected by the disease is 20 to 29 years old, with women being the most affected, with 505,332.
The fatality rate in probable cases is 0.06, while in serious cases, this rate is 4.83.
For every 100 thousand inhabitants, the incidence coefficient is 2511.9. The World Health Organization (WHO) considers it an epidemic when this index is greater than 300.
