In the state capital, 14 dengue deaths were confirmed. The municipality has almost 47,000 cases of the disease, according to the last epidemiological bulletin.
São Paulo accounts for almost 770,000 probable cases for the disease and more than a thousand cases of severe dengue, a complication that can lead to death.
The cities of Araraquara and São José do Rio Preto have the highest incidence of cases with more than 6,200 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
