One of the most important and respected guides in the world, Flos Olei 2024 which is in its 14th edition, selected 12 Brazilian olive oil brands among the 500 best in the world in its list published this Tuesday (26).
Manufacturers from 56 countries participated, receiving scores ranging from 80 to 100 points. At least nine reached the maximum points total – five from Italy, three from Spain and one from Croatia.

- Verde Louro (Canguçu/RS): 93 points
- Lagar H (Cachoeira do Sul/RS): 91 points
- Santana Chapel (Sentinela do Sul/RS): 88 points
- Estancia das Oliveiras (Viamão/RS): 88 points
- Capolivo (Canguçu/RS): 88 points
- Bem-Te-Vi (Encruzilhada do Sul/RS): 85 points
- Casa Marchio (Encruzilhada do Sul/RS): 84 points
- Al-Zait (Rosário do Sul/RS): 83 points
- Orfeu (São Sebastião da Grama/SP): 83 points
- Verolà (SapucaÃ-Mirim/MG): 83 points
The first placed on the Brazilian list is Prosperato, produced in Caçapava do Sul (RS), which had its first harvest just 10 years ago.
The product from the Farms of Sabiá Olive Oil second placed Brazilian, also received another international award in 2023. This time, the Italian Lodo Guide, one of the most traditional extra virgin olive oil competitions in the world, recognized the Brazilian company as the Company of the Year. The brand competed with prestigious Italian companies: Marfuga, founded in 1817, and Frantoi Cutrera, created in 1906.
Launched commercially in 2020, Azeite Sabiá is produced on two farms, one in Santo Antônio do Pinhal (SP) and the other in Serra do Sudeste (RS). In its fourth commercial harvest, it has already collected 86 international awards – there were more than 20 podiums in 2023 alone.
