Brazil recorded, in the last 24 hours, 312 deaths and 37,690 cases of Covid-19, according to data released by the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass), this Thursday (24).
The moving average of deaths is at 269 – the lowest number since January 22, when the average was 261. The moving average of Covid cases is at 34,292.
The indices consider the average number of infections and deaths recorded in the last seven days. The data allow monitoring of the pandemic indicators without possible distortions caused by possible underreporting on weekends.
In all, the country has recorded 658,310 deaths and 29,769,681 cases of Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.

While the Ministry of Health is already recommending the fourth dose of the immunizer against Covid-19 for the elderly over 80, not half of the population eligible for vaccination has received the third dose, according to the folder.
