A dossier of the National Association of Transvestites and Transsexuals (Antra) pointed out on Monday (27) that Brazil remains one of the most lethal countries for this community, compared to the 122 deaths recorded in 2024.

The research pointed out that the profile of the victims mostly are young, black, poor and northeastern. And that the life expectancy of this population is up to 35 years.

- In the states of Acre, Rio Grande do Norte and Roraima no records of murders were found in 2024.
