Brazil receives a batch of 1.1 million doses of Pfizer’s vaccine against Covid-19

A batch with 1.12 million doses of the vaccine arrived in Brazil this Sunday (7). Pfizer against Covid-19. The cargo was unloaded at Viracopos Airport, in Campinas (SP).

This is the 14th delivery within the second contract with the pharmaceutical to supply 100 million doses of the immunizing agent by December. The vaccine manufacturer has already delivered 100 million doses provided for in the first term signed with the federal government.

Since the beginning of vaccination against the coronavirus in Brazil, more than 344 million doses of vaccines against Covid-19 have been distributed, of which 121 million were manufactured by Pfizer.

The prediction of the Ministry of Health is that, now in November, 34 million doses of vaccine from the North American laboratory will arrive in Brazil.

To date, 122.3 million people have completed immunization against the disease in Brazil, with two doses or a single dose vaccine.
