Brazil recorded, this Sunday (6), 59,737 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to data from the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass), released at 6 pm. Conass also reported that states reported 391 coronavirus deaths.
Between January 30 and February 5, the country recorded the second epidemiological week with more cases since the beginning of the pandemic. There were 1,258,651 infections.
The highest number was recorded between January 23 and 29, with 1,305,477 cases.
In all, Brazil has 632,193 deaths and 26,533,010 infections from the disease.
The moving average of cases, which takes into account the last seven days, is at 169,173. The moving average of deaths is 764.
The number of cases has already exceeded four million in 2022 alone.
In all, there are 4,245,491 infections, surpassing the entire second half of 2021, which had 3,730,380 cases.

City of São Paulo has 62.6% of children aged 5 to 11 immunized against Covid
The city of São Paulo reported on Saturday (5) that the city reached 62.6% vaccine coverage against Covid-19 among children aged 5 to 11 years.
