Four people found him death and another was injured when logs of trees fell from a truck and crushed a car in the southern state of Parana Brazil.
The accident occurred yesterday Monday (12/9) on the BR376 highway, near the town of Tibazi, when the driver of the lorry transporting tree logs on behalf of the Klabin paper mill attempted a sharp maneuver to avoid a head-on collision with another car, resulting in his vehicle to be overturned, according to a police spokesman.
The load flattened and crushed a car belonging to the office of the mayor of the neighboring city of Ortigeira, which was carrying five people. Four of them died instantly and one was injured and taken to a hospital.
The driver of the truck got out of his vehicle unharmed, as reported by Brazilian television.
