A Brazilian was arrested in London, UK, on suspicion of the murder of a 27-year-old woman. Keven Antônio Lourenço de Morais, was arrested in Neeld Crescent, Wembley, on Thursday (15), according to the Metropolitan Police of the British capital.
Keven is suspected of killing Tejaswini Kontham and for attempting to kill a second woman in the same locality.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Thursday. Police received a call to a residential address in Neeld Crescent on Tuesday following reports of a stabbing.
Police and the London Ambulance Service arrived at the scene to find Tejaswini Kontham, and another woman, 28, with stab wounds.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, Tejaswini died at the scene. Police say the victim’s family has been informed.
The second woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening stab wounds.
Police say two other people arrested in the investigation have been released without further action.
