Brazilian artist goes viral by creating version of Madonna without facelifts

This Monday (15), one day before the 64th birthday of Madonna the Brazilian artist Hidreley Dio published on her Instagram a version of the singer these days if she had not undergone cosmetic procedures on her face.

The artist, from Botucatu, in the interior of São Paulo, who uses Photoshop and artificial intelligence to recreate faces of different personalities, saw his publication go viral and be commented on by the singer herself an hour later: “Great! Hey, can you bring this photograph to life? If so, I’ll email you,” praised Madonna.

In the caption of Hidreley’s post, he asks: “How can a 64-year-old have such an amazing face?”.

He continues: “Over the years, we have followed the great transformations in Madonna’s life. (…) Now, Madonna becomes the target of controversy and the reason is one of her big changes: the facial! Her plastic surgeries have already become impossible to ignore, giving the artist a powerful new look and, of course, the public is noticing the big differences.”

For him, there are both positive and negative comments regarding his appearance. “Well… What if she never had surgery on her face? How would she be? I used artificial intelligence plus Photoshop to get a sense of what Madonna would look like at 64,” he added.

After the publication, the artist released the message sent by Madonna via direct on Instagram, celebrating. “She’s the one who has a birthday, but I’m the one who gets the gift,” she wrote.

In her profile on social media, Hidreley Dião shows versions of people like actress Daniela Perez, and how she would be if she were alive today, 30 years after her death, even what Disney princesses would be like in real life.

One of his creations was featured in the American magazine “Newsweek”, revealing what the Statue of Liberty would look like if it were alive.
