Agreement to reduce pollution
Eight Brazilian cities enter into an international agreement to reduce carbon emissions by half by 2030. The agreement was announced at COP26, which takes place in Scotland, and bears the name of one thousand cities around the world, among them are Salvador, Curitiba, São Paulo , Rio de Janeiro and Niterói. The other three cities have yet to be revealed.

During the largest conference on climate change, COP26, the executive coordinator of the Brazilian Forum on Climate Change, Oswaldo Santos Lucon, resigned. Emergency Use of Covaxin
The World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended the emergency use of the Indian vaccine against Covid-19 Covaxin. The WHO guides the application of the immunizing agent for all age groups above 18 years old with two doses and an interval of 4 weeks between one dose and another.
High light impacts GDP
With the value of the electricity bill soaring — a consequence of the worst water crisis in the last 90 years — GDP in 2021 drops to 0.11% and 0.19% in the indicator for next year. In the job market, inflation on electricity is expected to result in a loss of 166,000 jobs this year and 290,000 jobs in 2022.

Pfizer for children
The United States has begun vaccinating children ages 5 to 11 years old. 11 million doses of Pfizer have already started to be distributed in the country today.
