A survey released this Monday (1) by the KPMG Consulting showed that Brazilian companies are among the most concerned about the impacts that the climate crisis may have on business.
The study was carried out in eight Latin American countries, and Brazil leads the list on the continent. Behind Brazil are other nations such as Peru, Argentina, Costa Rica and Colombia.
The survey also highlights that, in Brazil, 46% of companies are concerned about business and environmental changes.
Another highlight pointed out is that 67% of companies are concerned about disclosing reports on sustainable development goals. In this regard, the country is third on the list, ahead of Mexico and Colombia.
Among the sectors that most make such reports available are mining, industry, metals, public services, technology, media and communication.
