Brazilian fan of Formula 1 is found dead during a trip to Japan

The Brazilian AMANDA BORGES DA SILVA born in Caldazinha (GO), was found dead during a trip to Japan.

The information was confirmed on Friday (2) by the city hall, which lamented the death of the young woman in a note of regret on social networks.

“Amanda was a young girl full of dreams, dear to all, and her sudden departure leaves a deep void in our community,” wrote the municipal administration.

Master in Letters from the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), Amanda shared on social networks her passion for Formula 1 and experiences on international travel. The last publication on its Instagram profile was made on April 25.

She even posted on her Instagram a photo following the GP of Japan.

In the caption, she wrote: “Thank God for taking care of me so well and allowing to live special moments. Passionate in this country,” in reference to Japan. The cause of death has not yet been released.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Consulate General of Brazil in Tokyo, is aware of the case and is in contact with the family members of the Brazilian, to whom it provides consular assistance, and with the Japanese local authorities.

In compliance with the right to privacy and in compliance with the provisions of the Law on Access to Information and Decree 7.724/2012, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not provide information on individual cases of assistance to Brazilian citizens.
