Brazilian ‘Hulk’ Dies at 55 – He Injected Oil to ‘Blow Up’ His Muscles

THE Valdir Segato or else Valdir Synthol the Brazilian “Hulk” expired on July 26 at the age of 55 and his death caused much interest in his country mainly about whether his lifestyle led to his end. In order to create his huge arms and others muscles he injected oil and other substances into his body.

Segato was alive isolated to most recently in the area of ​​Ribeirao Preto in the state of Sao Paulo. Of course, he had for… company the more than 1.5 million followers on TikTok and on other social media where he showed off his body. World famous bodybuilder who injected oil to create 60cm biceps was proud of his muscle size.

For years the Brazilian “Hulk” had these injections even though his doctors had sounded the alarm warning him that he was at risk of a stroke and various infections.

In addition to his biceps, he wanted to increase his chest and lats. The Brazilian, originally from Sao Paulo, had set his sights on becoming like Arnold Schwarzenegger while admiring fictional characters such as the Hulk. He enjoyed being known in his area as “the monster”.

Six years ago, doctors warned him he risked amputation or permanent nerve damage and muscle disfigurement if he continued to inject the oil. But Segato was enjoying the publicity he had gotten and wanted to get even more.

In an interview in 2016 he said: “They call me Hulk, Schwarzenegger and He-Man all the time and I love that. I’ve doubled my biceps but still want to get bigger”. He often posted his pictures on social media and enjoyed his popularity. However, a few days before his death he was living in isolation.

As it became known from his environment, Segato woke up one morning with shortness of breath and asked for help. A neighbor took him to the hospital where he was diagnosed with a heart attack. According to Ribeirao Preto authorities his death was caused by natural causes.

At a young age Segato got involved with drugs. When he cut them, he started the gym, but wanted more extreme results than what exercise offered him. Someone gave him synthol at the gym and he soon became addicted to this muscle building substance.

According to Europe PubMed Central: “The side effects of synthol are multiple and can also cause nerve damage, pulmonary embolism, pulmonary artery occlusion, myocardial infarction, stroke and infectious complications.”

The injections Segato gave are composed of 85% oil (usually sesame oil), 7.5% lidocaine, a pain reliever, and 7.5% alcohol, which is used to sterilize the preparation.
