An unprecedented survey by LinkedIn, released this Monday (27), shows that Brazilian merchants intend to increase the use of technologies in their companies by at least 63%. And the expectation is that the result will be reached in 2022. For the preparation of the analysis, more than 1,500 managers in the country were consulted.
The LinkedIn report “The Sales Scenario in Brazil – 2022 Edition” points out that among the technological tools that will be most implemented by merchants are platforms for virtual work (61%), consumer relations – CRM (58%), planning sales (56%) and sales intelligence (53%).
“The highlight was for professionals who invest in data intelligence and invest in digital tools and training to put customer priorities ahead of the business. Also according to the study, the Covid-19 pandemic generated an “urgent need for digitalization and improvement of technologies” on the part of the retail trade in Brazil.
In this sense, Sandro Carsava, LinkedIn Sales Solutions leader in Latin America, reinforces that to face the challenge of data inconsistency, it is necessary to invest in a set of technological solutions and train people so that these tools can be integrated into the workflow. of the teams.

An example is the LinkedIn Sales Navigator synchronization feature, which allows data from the world’s largest professional social network to be automatically loaded into CRM. We know that virtual sales are a reality in today’s world and, for transformations in this sector to occur, it is not enough to implement a technology and make it mandatory, it is necessary to count on the support that involves both technical skills and trained human resources to translate the customer needs,” he says.
