Brazil’s accession process to the OECD opens the way to advantages and challenges

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) sent an invitation letter to Brazil to begin the process of analyzing the requirements for Brazil to join the entity, which until recently was known as a “club of rich countries”. . The Brazilian government has been waiting for this green light since 2017, when it applied to join the OECD.
