At least two people were killed and 41 were injured today, when a bridge collapsed, while crossing a bus and another vehicle in North Peru. The accident occurred shortly after midnight, local time, on the Chankai Bridge, 75 kilometers north of Lima, on the Pan -American motorway connecting Northern Peru with the capital. The driver and a passenger were dead from the bus wreckage. Another 41 people were injured and hospitalized, the Ministry of Health said.
