Bridgerton 3, who is the new actress who will play Francesca instead of Ruby Stokes

Season three of Bridgertonwith the first take in a few weeks, has found a new Francesca. Yes, the daughter number six of the late Viscount will no longer have the face of Ruby Stokes but that of Hannah Dodd.

Hannah Dodd played the younger version of Sienna Miller in Anatomy of a scandal (will soon also be in Enola Holmes 2), while Ruby Stokes will be the protagonist of the series Lockwood & co. The recasting will not be traumatic because Francesca’s interpreter has barely seen herself and he almost never spoke in the course of the two chapters, passing, however, to guest star in the second.

The Regency saga born from the novels of Julia Quinn (published in Italy by Mondadori) and created by Shonda Rhimes (Grey’s Anatomy), flagship of Netflix, is renewed in every sense. And not just because showrunner Chris Van Dusen leaves the series.

According to the books, her turn to experience a fairytale lovestory will come in season six, but only two have been announced so far, so it is not known whether Francesca’s role will grow in the next episodes dedicated to Benedict, the second born artist, or not.

For the moment Hannah Dodd on Instagram says she is terrified by the challenge, but ready to face it. Ruby Stokes, on the other hand, posts nostalgic or irreverent shots from the Bridgerton set on social networks. The nostalgia effect has already begun …
