Nicola Coughlan star of “Bridgerton” shared new photos and videos from behind the scenes of the series. Through her social media, the actress celebrated the entry of the 3rd season into the Top 10 most watched English-language series on Netflix.
“Season 3 just made it into Netflix’s Top 10 of all time because you’ve watched billions (!) of hours of it, which is insane. I’m so grateful, so please accept some behind-the-scenes joy as a thank you!” she wrote in her post.
Last month, the actress who plays Penelope Featherington had already shared some behind-the-scenes photos with a vintage aesthetic.
According to data released by the platform, the third season of the series has, to date, accumulated a total of 91.9 million views all over the world. “Bridgerton” now has its three seasons in the top 10 most-watched English-language series on Netflix since the first two already occupied the ranking.
The third season of “Bridgerton” was divided into two parts. The first was released on May 16, while the second was released almost a month later, on June 13.
This second batch also occupied, for the third week in a row, the position of most watched series of the week, with 6.6 million views between June 26 and July 2.
This is fifth time the series has topped the list of the most watched series of the week since the first part of the new season was released.
“Bridgerton” is an adaptation of the books written by author Julia Quinn, and tells the story of the eight Bridgerton siblings, who live in high society in London during the 1800s. Each season focuses on one of the family members. So far, Daphne, Antony and Colin Bridgerton have been portrayed, in that order.
