“Bridgerton”: Netflix releases new scene and episode titles

The new season of “Bridgerton” had an unprecedented scene and new images released this Wednesday (14). Furthermore, the new episodes, which will be eight in total, also have titles. The new plot will focus on the troubled relationship between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).

Characters who return in the new season stand out in the new images, such as the Bridgerton brothers who have not yet had the focus on their story. The characters of Phoebe Dynevor and Jonathan Bailey, covered in the first and second seasons, in that order, were not seen in the photos. It is worth mentioning that Daphne Bridgerton's interpreter has already revealed that she will not return to the Netflix series.

In the unprecedented scene released by the streaming service, Penelope and Colin discuss their relationship. As previously announced by the platform, this season, viewers will be able to witness the blossoming romance between the two characters, who are affectionately known to fans as Polin.

Netflix also released the title of each episode. Check out:

  • 3.01: “The Flower Awakened”
  • 3.02: “Under the Moonlight”
  • 3.03: “Forces of Nature”
  • 3.04: “Old Friends”
  • 3.05: “Race Against Time”
  • 3.06: “The Secrets of Colin Bridgerton”
  • 3.07: “Hand in Hand”
  • 3.08: “Revelations”

According to the official synopsis, in the new plot, Penelope finally gave up on her longtime crush on Colin after hearing his derogatory comments about her last season. She has decided, however, that it is time to get a husband, preferably one who offers her enough independence to pursue her double life as Lady Whistledown, away from her mother and sisters.

Desperate to regain their friendship, Colin offers to mentor Penelope, giving her the confidence to help her find a husband. But when his lessons start to work too well, Colin has to question whether his feelings for Penelope are really just friendship.

The third season will be divided into two parts. According to what has already been released by Netflix, the first four episodes will be available on May 16th. The second wave arrives on streaming on June 13th.

Each season is responsible for adapting one of the books released by Julia Quinn.
