The successful series Netflix, “Bridgerton” will tell the love story of Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan ) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton ) in the third season.
The story will not be like in the book series of Julia Quinn in which the third novel focuses on Benedict Bridgerton and their romantic adventures.
Actress Nicola Coughlan shared the news on her Instagram profile on Monday (15).

“I really feel like it’s Colin and Penelope time,” new showrunner Jess Brownell told Variety.
“I feel like, especially in the last season, there are these moments of tension between them, Colin almost realizes that Penelope has feelings for him, but it doesn’t quite get there,” Brownell said. “Instead of avoiding talking about it, we believe it’s time to be their season. It really felt like the perfect time to start.”
Both characters have participated since the first season, which followed the romance between Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor ) and Simon Basset (Regé-Jean Page ).
The second season focused on Anthony Bridgerton’s love story (Jonathan Bailey ) with Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley ).
