The third season of “Bridgerton” entered the history of the Netflix streaming platform. Overtaking the miniseries “Baby Reindeer”, the episodes focused on Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton now occupy 10th place in the ranking of the most watched English-language series on the service.
According to data released by the platform, the third season has accumulated, to date, a total of 91.9 million views all over the world. “Bridgerton” now has its three seasons in the top 10 most-watched English-language series on Netflix since the first two already occupied the ranking.
The third season of “Bridgerton” was divided into two parts. The first was released on May 16, while the second was released almost a month later, on June 13.
The second part of the season also occupies, for the third week in a row, the position of most watched series of the week, with 6.6 million views between June 26 and July 2.
This is fifth time the series has topped the list of the most watched series of the week since the first part of the new season was released.
Despite ranking 10th, the third season could still climb the rankings, as Netflix calculates the numbers based on the first 90 days of a production’s release. The new episodes of “Bridgerton” premiered 45 days ago.
Other productions that make Netflix’s historic list are “Wandinha”, “The Queen’s Gambit” and seasons of “Stranger Things”.

“Bridgerton” is an adaptation of the books written by author Julia Quinn, and tells the story of the eight Bridgerton siblings, who live in high society in London during the 1800s. Each season focuses on one of the family members. So far, Daphne, Antony and Colin Bridgerton have been portrayed, in that order.
