Briq Properties: The big investment in Aspropyrgos and the new projects

Briq is turning to the logistics industry, one of the most developing in our country, making a large investment in Aspropyrgos.

Presenting the investment, the CEO of BriQ Properties, Anna Apostolidou stated that the area was acquired with successive moves in 2020.

Thus, the company now owns a single plot of land for development in Aspropyrgos with a total area of ​​102,813 sq.m. with the aim of creating a Logistics Center with a total coverage area of ​​40,000 sq.m.

Such as wrote Capital.gr 20,700 sq.m. of logistics space have already been built and leased to Info Quest Technologies. This first building will be handed over to the tenant in early 2022.

The new investment in the second logistics building is expected to start in early 2022 and be completed in 2023.

To date, 16 million euros have been invested in this project, raising the total amount of the investment to 26 million euros.

The Logistics Park in Aspropyrgos in its full operation will be able to store approximately 29,250 pallets. The maximum height of the warehouse is 12.20 meters, when respectively KAD buildings under construction, reach 8-9 meters high.

The building is made of prefabricated (prestressed) reinforced concrete, fire resistance 120 ‘, which is the maximum fire protection for industrial – storage buildings. It will be one of the first, if not the first, fully certified Z3 fire protection building.

It will have a Picking & Loading docks space, surface 2,500sqm, metal construction (also 120 ‘fire resistance), with a maximum height of 7.50m. and width 18 meters.

This feature allows the user of the building to easily and quickly load and unload vehicles, comfortably and safely. It will also have 25 ramps for vehicles.

It is recalled that Briq has acquired 80% of another logistics complex in Mandra, with eight buildings of almost 59,000 sq.m. in a property of 131 acres, which is fully leased to Sarmed Logistics.

At the same time, the company emphasizes the renovation of the office space it has in its portfolio, following the rules of energy saving and environmental upgrading.

In this context, the company carries out a complete renovation of the office building at 42 Poseidonos Ave., Kallithea, with an area of ​​1,900 sq.m. and an initial budget of 2.7 million euros, with the aim of creating a green modern office building certified according to LEED.

It should be noted that in the near future it will be the first AEEAP that is listed in the viability index of the Greek stock market, ie in the index with ESG (Environmental Social and Corporate Governance) criteria.
