This Saturday (02) the Brit Awards 2024 , which celebrates British musicians. As usual, the ceremony will be hosted at the O2 Arena in London.
The event is scheduled to start at 6pm in Brasília time and Live broadcast outside the UK will be held via the awards YouTube channel. The link has already been made available and you can see it below:
Radio presenter Clara Amfo, TV presenter Maya Jama and radio presenter Roman Kemp will be responsible for leading the event. Last year, they also presented the Brit Awards red carpet together.
Furthermore, eight artists have already been confirmed to take the stage this year. This is the case of Dua Lipa, Calvin Harris, who performs alongside Ellie Goulding and much more.
For 2024, the Brit Awards have increased the number of nominees for Artist of the Year and International Artist of the Year from five to ten, a change aimed at improving representation and inclusion. Furthermore, this year's edition will feature a new genre award category: R&B Act . In this case, eligibility for the R&B music genre award spanned a period of 24 months, rather than the usual 12 months, to ensure more artists could compete.
