There are 31 plans terrorist attacks which have been prevented by the police and the secret services in Britain for the last four years as revealed on Friday (10/9) the general director of the MI5 counterintelligence service, Ken McCallum.
The majority of these plans came from Islamist extremists, but a growing number are organized far-right groups., said as broadcast by the Athenian News Agency.
“Even during the period of the pandemic that we have all been experiencing for most of the last two years, we had to prevent six plans for a terrorist attack that were in the final stages,” McCallum told the BBC.
“Therefore the terrorist threat to Britain“I’m sorry to say that, but it is something real and lasting,” he added.
