Britain: A 75-year-old man was found guilty, as if he pulled the trigger, for the murder of a policewoman in 2005

A 75-year-old man was found guilty today of murdering a policewoman during a robbery at a travel agency in northern England in late 2005, after which she fled to Pakistan. The seventh and final suspect to be brought before British justice, Piran Dita Khan was believed to be the mastermind of the gun attack and should be considered guilty as if he had “pulled the trigger of that revolver himself”, the prosecution said during the trial held in Leeds according to the Athens News Agency. On November 18, 2005, police officer Sharon Beseniewski, aged 38, was shot dead in the chest after arriving at the scene of an armed attack on a travel agency in Bradford, northeast England.
