The center-right, ruling Conservative Union Party of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has made a member available as it investigates reports that a member of the party was watching porn on his mobile phone during a meeting of the House of Commons.
Neil Paris, a Conservative MP since 2010, was made available by the party after reporting it to an Ethics committee in parliament, a spokesman for the party’s chief discipline spokesman said.
“After speaking to the head of party discipline this afternoon, MP Neil Paris testified before the House of Commons Ethics Committee,” the spokesman said.
“Mr Paris has been made available by the Conservative Party pending the outcome of the inquiry.”
Johnson said Thursday that watching porn is unacceptable in any workplace.
