Britain’s Ministry of Defense said today it will provide six underwater drones to Ukraine to help clear its coast of mines and make grain shipments safer.
Britain will also train dozens of Ukrainian navy personnel in the use of drones, the ministry said in a statement.
In the field, Russian forces hit several private houses, warehouses and power lines in eastern Ukraine, according to a statement from Ukraine’s General Staff.
The Russian Navy continues reconnaissance and blockade of civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea, Ukraine’s Defense Ministry said. Seven Russian ammunition depots in southern Ukraine were destroyed this week, said Natalia Khumeniuk, a spokeswoman for the Ukrainian military.
