Russian missile strikes on a Ukrainian base near the Polish border are deeply troubling, but will not deter Britain from continuing to supply Ukraine with defense weapons, a spokesman for Prime Minister Boris Johnson said today.
The Russian Defense Ministry said the attack hit “foreign mercenaries and a large quantity of foreign weapons.”
“These blows are deeply disturbing,” said Johnson’s spokesman.
Asked if this would deter Britain from sending further weapons, he said: “No. We will definitely continue to provide this defensive, deadly capability to the Ukrainian government. with success”.
