A young woman was the victim of a shooting at a pub in Wallasey, Britain, on Christmas Eve, while many patrons are seriously injured.
Merseyside Police said local police were called to a local pub in the Wallasey area on Saturday night following reports of a shooting near Liverpool.
The young woman who ended up was initially taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds, which eventually proved fatal. In addition, three men were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Officers are appealing for information after the gunman fled in a dark vehicle, believed to be a Mercedes, according to the BBC.
Police officer David McCaughrean, among others, said that “we have a number of officers in the Wallasey area who are carrying out extensive inquiries to understand exactly what has happened and take immediate action” and added that “the person responsible for the incident remains at large and Police have already appealed to the public and anyone who was in the pub at the time of the shooting to come forward with information.”
