Britain: Three men convicted of breaking into mammoth house at Tamara Ecclestone

Three men involved in a series of burglaries, including one with a record theft of almost 30 million euros at the residence of the daughter of her former CEO Formula 1 Bernie Ecclestone, were sentenced on Monday (15/11) to London to prison sentences of up to 11 years.

Two of them, o Alessandro Donati, aged 44 years and o Alessandro Maltiz, aged 45, were sentenced to 8 years and nine months in prison, while the 24-year-old Jugoslav Djovanovic was sentenced to 11 years in prison.

The three men, of Italian nationality, were found guilty of three burglaries committed in December 2019. They will serve their sentences in Italy.

Among their victims are her former football player Chelsea Frank Lampard and the Tamara Ecclestone and her husband.

From the residence of the daughter of her former boss Formula 1, jewelery, money and precious stones worth more than 25 25 million (€ 29.5 million) were stolen, an amount which according to the police London is a record for a burglary in a private home.

Only a small portion of the loot was found.
