Three of them breathed their last four children who were hospitalized since yesterday, Sunday (11/12) in a critical condition at the hospital after falling into a frozen lake Britainthe police announced today, continuing their investigations into the possibility of other victims.
“It was not possible to revive the three boys, aged eight, ten and eleven, who had suffered a cardiac arrest after falling into the icy waters lake in Solihull,” West Midlands Police said.
“Unfortunately they could not be revived and our thoughts go out to their family and friends at this somber time“, the West Midlands Police noted in its announcement, as reported by the Athens News Agency.
The fourth boy, aged 6, who was pulled by rescuers along with the other three from the icy waters of the lake, remains in hospital in a “critical condition”, police added.
“Investigations at the lake are continuing as we try to ascertain what happened and if anyone else fell into the water,” she concludes in her statement.
