Actor Anthony Hopkins expressed his readiness to “dive” into the world of NFT and turned to his colleagues for recommendations on which collectible token he should buy. Users have already gifted him several NFTs.
Anthony Hopkins, two-time Oscar winner, has changed his Twitter account name to AHopkins.eth. By data EtherScan, the AHopkins.eth domain name was purchased in May, but the actor had not yet acquired NFT at the time. However, after Hopkins published the wallet address, users sent him several collectible tokens as gifts.
By updating his Twitter profile, Hopkins wrote to other Web3-savvy celebrities, rapper Snoop Dogg, actress Reese Witherspoon, and comedian and television host Jimmy Fallon, to help him decide on an NFT purchase.
“I am amazed by the creations of all the great NFT artists. I’m about to buy my first job, any recommendations? Hopkins wrote to colleagues.
Fallon responded to the actor that he liked his photo of him with a thoughtful look and admired the NFT artist community, calling them hilarious guys. Thus, he hinted that this photo can be tokenized, taking it as a basis for creating an NFT. Hopkins’ tweet did not leave other Twitter users indifferent either: NFT supporters supported the actor’s aspirations to explore this space, other users criticized him for his interest in unique tokens.
The famous director Quentin Tarantino also made the first steps in the world of NFT. In November, he launched collectible tokens in the form of uncensored scenes from the movie Pulp Fiction on the OpenSea marketplace. However, his experience with NFT turned out to be unsuccessful – Miramax sued him for copyright infringement.
