British fashion, accessories and perfumery manufacturer Burberry has launched its first collection of non-fungible tokens (NFT) in partnership with Mythical Games.
Another fashion company has entered the NFT market. Burberry released the NFT collection via Blankos Block Party – a blockchain game with Blankos digital vinyl toys. Press office of the British fashion brand statedthat Burberry’s digital collection, dubbed “B Series”, will feature a limited edition of Burberry’s unique products.
NFTs will be available for in-game purchase on the Blankos Block Party marketplace from August 11th. Burberry hopes to stimulate the gaming community by encouraging players to interact with the brand in an environment that celebrates art and design.
Other fashion brands are also gradually entering the NFT market. Recently Dolce & Gabbana stated partnership with UNXD luxury goods market to launch the NFT collection. Luxury goods and luxury goods maker LVMH this week launched a gaming app with non-fungible tokens, some of which were created by digital artist Beeple.
