British professor for Omicron: Like a high-speed train coming at us

Alarm has been sounded at Britain due to its dispersion Omicron mutation of coronavirus from which twelve people have lost their lives. The government, according to a British media report, is considering imposing new measures while the universal is not excluded lockdown.

According to SKAI, the scientists do not hide their concern about the Omicron mutation, with Professor Stephen Reicher characteristically stating that “It’s like a high-speed train coming at us”. He claims that it is not yet certain that the Omicron variant is milder than Delta, clarifying that when this becomes known it may be too late.

Professor Gapta, for his part, points out that Britain must consider itself in a critical situation.

The Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has canceled all his appointments to consider new measures even a universal lockdown suggested by experts.

The Daily Telegraph reports that there are three scenarios presented to the Prime Minister of the country. The first is to follow the example of the Scottish Government and address the people one by one strict recommendation to restrict indoor gatherings. The other option, which is believed to be the basic proposal of his scientific advisers, is to re-apply regulation restricting indoor gatherings for people who do not live together, to set opening hours of restaurants until 8 pm and return to obligation to keep a distance of two meters. The third scenario predicts a universal lockdown.

It is also crucial when the new measures will be implemented as the government prefers after Christmas but experts point out that it may be too late then.
