Britain’s Prince George turns 11 on Monday (22). To mark the occasion, Kensington Palace published a new photo of him smiling and looking relaxed, dressed in a white shirt and dark blazer.
“Wishing Prince George a very happy 11th birthday today!” wrote the Kensington Palace account on X, with a black-and-white photo of the second-in-line to the throne. The photo was taken by his mother, Kate Middleton, according to the publication.
George, the grandson of King Charles III, was last seen in public on July 14 when he accompanied his father, Prince William, to watch England play in the European Football Championship final in Berlin. The team lost to Spain.
This has been a difficult year for the British royal family, with both Kate Middleton and the King undergoing treatment for cancer.
Both have participated in events in recent weeks.
