British “Spiderman” climbed one of the tallest skyscrapers in Europe

The nickname “Spiderman” given to 21-year-old George King is no coincidence. The 21-year-old Briton proved again why he is called that, as he climbed one of the tallest skyscrapers in Europe, in Barcelona, without the use of ropes or other safety measures.

Crowds watched the young man climb to the top of the 116-meter-high Melia Barcelona Sky Hotel. As soon as he came down from the building, he was arrested and now he is facing a fine.

“When I was at the top, I felt it was another dimension of happiness,” King told Reuters. According to APE-MPE, he added: “When I met the police downstairs, my mind was still in the clouds.”

George King climbed the Barcelona hotel in about 20 minutes.

In 2019 he climbed the Shard building, 310 meters high, in London, the tallest skyscraper in Britain again without any protective equipment.
