Britney Spears’ lawyer in response to Federline: “We will not tolerate bullying”

a lawyer from Britney Spears is speaking out against a series of videos published by the singer’s ex-husband, Kevin Federline .

On Wednesday, Federline posted on Instagram several videos he says were filmed by Spears’ children several years ago, in which she appears to have verbal disagreements and uses harsh language with her two children.

The videos were removed from the social media platform but were published by “TMZ”. In a statement to CNN Spears’ attorney said he’s “working with Instagram to ensure Federline abides by their rules, and we’re exploring all appropriate remedies against him.”

“Whether he realizes it or not, Mr. Federline not only violated the privacy and dignity of the mother of his children, he undermined his own children, whose privacy he was supposed to protect,” said Mathew Rosengart, Spears’ attorney.

“The imprudent decision of Mr. Federline to post an old video of his 11 and 12 year olds was cruel, bottom of the barrel thing.”

Federline said in his post that his family chose to share the videos to illustrate why they’ve more recently distanced themselves from Britney Spears. CNN reached out to Federline’s attorney for comment.

“It was an honor to work with Britney, suspend her father as a curator, help her gain her freedom and dignity and protect her from the kind of bullying she has suffered in the past – and we will not tolerate bullying in any area,” Rosengart said.
