Britney Spears revealed that he prefers not to compose his own songs, but instead chooses to produce material for other artists.
The 42-year-old pop star — who released her bombshell autobiography “The Woman in Me” (The Woman in Me, in Portuguese) last year, narrating her life before and after a guardianship agreement that was administered by her family –, admitted that she has difficulty putting her own words on paper.
However, the singer revealed that she is a big fan of the work of some renowned authors, such as writer Danielle Steel. “I choose not to write… I don't think I'm very good… but I like Danielle Steel's novels… what a beautiful talent…,” she wrote on her Instagram.
The interpreter shared her words alongside a poem by Nikita Gill, which mentions the power of writers to “immortalize their victims through verse”.
Despite her uncertainty about her writing talent, Britney has successfully ventured into songwriting over the years. Among her works are the song “Someday (I Will Understand)'' the acclaimed “Everytime” It is “Follow me” which was used as the theme song for the series “Zoey 101,” starring her sister, Jamie Lynn, at the time.
