Wedding with surprise. And certainly not welcome: Britney Spears was partially ruined on her wedding day with Sam Asghari (yesterday 9 June 2022) by the unwanted arrival of her ex-husband Jason Alexander. The man literally crashed the wedding without an invitation and was first blocked by the pop star’s private security and then taken away by the police, as he confirmed to Variety the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
The man was married to the singer, with whom he was a childhood friend, in 2004 for 55 hours (then the bond was promptly canceled in Las Vegas) and he showed up at the very private event – with only 60 guests – claiming to access it. Although he has participated in the past in the #FreeBritney street demonstrations to end the conservatorship of the diva’s father, evidently relations with the ex-wife did not remain cordial.
However, it seems that Alexander already had an arrest warrant for theft in another county, so in the meantime, investigators are trying to clarify the dynamics. It is not known whether they will formalize accusations with other aggravating circumstances than that of vandalism and violation of private property.
TMZ was the first to disclose the news but further details on his detention status are still awaited, albeit to the microphones of the magazine Britney’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart, said he was absolutely furious at the man’s behavior And ready to have him prosecuted with the maximum penalty permitted by law.
In fact, the dynamics of what happened were live on Instagram by Jason Alexander himself who showed the altercation with the guard right from inside the pop star’s home. At first, in fact, the man told him that he was invited to the event by Britney because she is her first and only wife. The explanation did not convince the security and from there the situation degenerated with a physical struggle during which Alexander was then immobilized waiting for the arrival of the police car.
Britney has been described by anonymous sources of People as if rather shaken by the event but she wanted to continue the ceremony as planned, avoiding the ex-incursion from ruining the party. The pop star has been organizing the wedding for months, since last September she received her fateful proposal and she started looking for her perfect dress by asking her friend Donatella Versace to make it for her.
The look of the couple has not yet been revealed while the images of the couple continue to arrive few guests at the event, from Madonna to Paris Hilton.
