Brooke Shields reveals she had a seizure in a restaurant and was saved by a famous actor

Brooke Shields revealed that he ended up in the ICU in September of this year after a health problem and was accompanied by Bradley Cooper throughout the trip to the hospital. In an interview with DailyMailthe actress revealed that she was waiting outside a restaurant in New York when she fell head first into the wall and began having a very severe seizure that had to be rushed to the hospital.

The actress was drinking a lot of water before performing at the famous Café Carlyle and had a low sodium content. “I was waiting for an Uber. I go down to the bottom of the stairs and it starts to feel weird, and [as pessoas com quem eu estava] they said, ‘Are you okay?’; I enter the L’Artusi restaurant and go to the sommelier who has just reserved an hour to watch my rehearsal. I go in, two women come up to me; I don’t know them. Everything starts to go black,” she began.

“Then my hands fall to my sides and I hit the wall head first. I start to have a huge seizure. This means foaming at the mouth, turning completely blue, trying to swallow your tongue. The next thing I remember is being loaded into an ambulance. I’m on oxygen. And Bradley Cooper is sitting next to me, holding my hand,” she added.

Shields then says that the waiter at the establishment contacted her husband, Chris Henchy, but was unable to do so. So, an assistant of hers knew that Bradley Cooper was nearby and decided to ask the actor for help, as he and the actress are longtime friends. “He called Bradley and said, ‘Brooke’s on the floor. Chris isn’t around. Go get her.’ He came, someone called the ambulance. And then it was like I walked in [na ambulância] with Jesus”.

Without really understanding what was happening, the actress remembers Cooper trying to calm her down. “I’m going to the hospital with you, Brooke,” declared the star. Once she arrived at the hospital, she was taken directly to the ICU and said she felt “trapped” after they put a catheter and an IV in her. Doctors asked her if she had drunk a lot of water, which the actress confirmed, and they then recommended that she adopt more salt in her diet.

The actress was very worried that she wouldn’t get better in time to debut her solo play. But, she was discharged a little later and debuted the show without any problems.
