The two brothers arrested on Wednesday (21) kept their father’s body for at least six months indoors, according to police investigation.
The case was only discovered after complaints from neighbors, who were surprised by the 88 -year -old elderly Dario, who reported not seeing him for several months.
During steps, the agents found the man’s skeleton in the room where he lived with his children in the Cocotá neighborhood of the northern part of the city.

“We will investigate the causes of death and specify the moment when death happened, and also verify that this death took place from a morbid state or illness. In addition, we will investigate what motivated these children to keep their father’s body in the residence,” said Deputy Felipe Santoro.
One of the lines of investigation is that the children kept their body hidden to continue receiving the financial benefits of their father.
An expertise was called to the site to clarify the circumstances of the death. Investigations are still in progress.
