The singer Bruce Springsteen 74, has denied rumors that he will retire or go on a farewell tour. During a show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (United States), the artist assured that he is “not going anywhere”.
“We’ve been around for 50 years and we’re not giving up,” Springsteen told the crowd, according to footage from the show posted on X, the old Twitter account. “We’re not doing no f*cking farewell tour. No farewell tour for the E Street Band,” he added.
In his speech, the owner of “Born in the USA” also mentions: “Goodbye to what? Thousands of people screaming your name?” and then responds ironically: “Yes, I want to stop this”.

Recently, Springsteen has been plagued by ongoing health issues that have resulted in several rescheduled shows during the E Street Band’s world tour, which kicked off in February 2023.
In May, he postponed shows in three European cities due to vocal problems. In September 2023, the rocker announced that he had to reschedule more than 20 shows while he recovered from a “peptic ulcer”.
