The news does not surprise fans of the rapper, since in January he was one of the guests of the Louis Vuitton show at Paris Fashion Week. He even met another big star, Spain’s Rosalía, at the event.

With the Korean wave gaining more and more prominence, there are many artists in the country who are ambassadors for luxury brands. Kai, from K-Pop group EXO, is an ambassador for Gucci; ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo is in Burberry, and NCT’s Jaehyun is in Prada.
It is also not the first time that the artist has signed with Louis Vuitton. In 2021, the luxury brand named the seven members of BTS as brand ambassadors.
The group even walked the runway in July 2021 for Virgil Abloh’s fall-winter men’s collection, which was streamed online to fans around the world:
Now that BTS is focusing on going solo, the members are individually signing to luxury brands. Jimin became an ambassador for Dior and SUGA for Valentino.
There are rumors about who RM, V, Jungkook will sign a contract with, but there’s nothing official. Jin, the eldest, is currently serving in the South Korean army.
