Buddy Valastro arrives in SP to celebrate the five years of Carlo’s Bakery

Carlo’s Bakery became a phenomenon in the country and the numbers don’t lie. Over the five years since its arrival here, more than 1.5 million customers have passed through the six confectionery units in São Paulo; 1.5 million cannolis were sold; almost 1 million lobster tail (sweet that looks like a stuffed croissant); and 700 thousand cupcakes. Remembering that it was long months closed because of the Covid-19.

Famous for producing unusual cakes, Buddy Valastro became the subject of the TV series “Cake Boss”, in 2009, and achieved a resounding result around the world.

And the news is that the next day 15th of June the baker arrives in the city to celebrate the anniversary of Carlo’s Bakery here and announce plans to expand the brand across the country.

On the 16th, Buddy will lead two classes-shows, in free events and open to the public, in the parking lot of Internacional Shopping, in Guarulhos, starting at 10 am. In São Paulo, the meeting will take place at Shopping Eldorado, starting at 5 pm.

His visit here also marks the first time in the history of Carlo’s Bakery in Brazil, that Valastro will have an appointment with fans at the factory of his famous sweets, on June 18.

In the best style of Willy Wonka’s award-winning tickets (from the movie “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”), ten lucky ones will be drawn and will have the opportunity to literally get their hands dirty with Cake Boss.

The winning tickets will be hidden in the cakes of the six Carlo’s Bakery units.
