Several new smartphones from Xiaomi and its sponsored brand Redmi have appeared in the database of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), which have not yet been presented by the manufacturer.
The documentation revealed three models – the M2101K7AG, which is likely to appear on sale as the Redmi K40, as well as the M2012K11G and M2101K9G, which are considered to be variations of the Xiaomi 11 Lite.
As usual, the ECE documentation does not provide details about the devices. Nevertheless, the receipt of certification indicates that the moment of official announcement is approaching.
The official debut of the Redmi K40 series of smartphones is expected in February. The base model will receive the flagship SoC MediaTek Dimensity, and the Pro version will receive the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888.
As for the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, an LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a triple main camera with a 64 MP main sensor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC, and 33 W fast charging are expected. The announcement is also expected in February.
