The young man has admitted that he is an advocate of white supremacy and has admitted that he planned the attack for a long time while chose this area because there are no white residents.

According to the French Agency, the Minister of Justice, Merrick Garland, in the press conference he gave, stated that “at the Ministry of Justice we consider it our legal and moral duty to fight against crimes motivated by hatred”.

It is recalled that on May 14, after many months of preparation, the 18-year-old went to the Tops supermarket, dressed in military uniform and armed with an AR-15 semi-automatic and a camera that broadcast the killings live on the internet. It killed a total of ten people and injured three others – almost all of the victims were black.

Its goal was to “prevent blacks from replacing whites (…) and inspire similar attacks,” the federal indictment said, analyzing a conspiracy theory being circulated by white racists.

On the perpetrator’s computer police found a “manifesto” he had written in previous months.
