A building collapsed in Vila Velha, Espírito Santo, on Thursday morning (21). So far, three people have been rescued. The first victim has been rescued and the second is in access. She is in another part of the house.
According to the Fire Department, the first victim stated that there are still three more people in the residences, two adults and a teenager. The team at the Specialized Disaster Response Center carries out searches using dogs to access victims as quickly as possible.
The second victim was removed from the rubble and was unfortunately dead, a 36-year-old woman named Camila. The third, a 15-year-old teenager, is being accessed and is conscious and verbalizing with the rescue teams.
The searches are carried out by teams of military firefighters from Vitória and Vila Velha with the support of the Vila Velha City Hall, municipal guard, civil defense, CREA and the residents’ association.
